We live in a very cold, very dry part of the earth. You need to stay moisturized to stay sane. (And trust me, if you have to wear socks or tights, those feet need moisturizing too). So although this is not very glam, it is very very essential. Of course we speak of Lubriderm. Basic. Buy in Bulk.

Annabelle Tip: If you find this just too plain, you can mix Lubriderm with an essential oil like rose or lavender for a nice relaxing “spa” feel.

Kerrie Tip: But use gentle essential oils. Too much Tea Tree or Basil oil and you’ll have a decidedly rashy glow.

About the author

Meet Kerrie: I grew up in the 70s, and longed for the perfect tan, baby-blue eyeshadow and super- straight Laurie Patridge hair. A tall order for a curly haired, fair skinned redhead. Like most girls, I was under confident and insecure… never stopping to consider that I possessed my own personal sense of beauty and style. Now that I am older, and the mother of a beautiful daughter, I realize how important it is to really believe in yourself. Trust yourself. And take everything the magazines throw at you with a huge grain of salt.

I LOVE Lubriderm. I moisturize with it every time I get out of the shower. I couldn’t live without it.

Adding a carrier oil like jojoba or almond to the cream will give you a super deep moisture treatment as well! PS LOVE THE SITE!
